Campaign Coordinator (Schools)

Attendance:  Build Days & Special Events  +  Weekly Meetings (virtual / in-person)
Hours Commitment:  ~10hours per week

Description

Project Ramadan is seeking a Campaign Coordinator (Schools) to join their team. The Campaign Coordinator (Schools) volunteer position will be responsible for project managing Project Ramadan’s Students Against Hunger campaign. This individual will require reaching out to schools encouraging them to launch their own fundraising initiatives to support the organization’s mission and provide support to parents, teachers and/or principals ensuring the campaign success. They are also expected to identify incentives for students to encourage participation in the program.

Responsibilities

• Identify creative and effective fundraising ideas to support our mission
• Project manage fundraising campaigns from inception to completion
• Collaborate with our marketing team to create campaign materials and promotional content
• Develop an award system for winning teams along with budgets 
• Assist in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers for campaign activities
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, partners and sponsors
• Monitor campaign progress, collect and analyze data, and adjust strategies to meet fundraising goals
• Develop and maintain a budget for each campaign, ensuring resources are used efficiently
• Promote Students Against Hunger campaign through various channels, including social media and community outreach
• Engage with supporters, donors, and community members to increase awareness of food insecurity and our cause

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fundraising or campaign coordination an asset
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to network and be comfortable with reaching out to potential contacts (cold-calling, cold-emailing, meeting new people, visiting business locations etc.) 
• Ontario G driver’s license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Creative and resourceful problem solver
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for the organization’s mission and the ability to convey it effectively to partners, sponsors, & donors
• Have network of contacts within the community is an asset
