Grants Coordinator

Attendance:  Build Days & Special Events  +  Weekly Meetings (virtual / in-person)
Hours Commitment: ~2-4 hrs per week for meetings and tasks, plus 7-10 hrs event days

Description

Project Ramadan is seeking a Grants Coordinator to join their team. The Grants Coordinator volunteer position will help secure funding for Project Ramadan through grant applications. This volunteer will play a key role in researching opportunities, writing proposals, and managing the submission process to support the organization’s programs and growth.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify grant opportunities that align with the nonprofit’s mission
• Write and submit grant applications and proposals
• Gather required documents and collaborate with team members for supporting information
• Track deadlines, submission dates, and reporting requirements
• Maintain organized records of all grant activity, outcomes, and follow-ups
• Support grant reporting and compliance, as needed
• Recommend new opportunities and approaches for grant funding

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in grant writing, research, or nonprofit fundraising
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and communicate with various teams as needed
• Passionate about the nonprofit’s mission and impact
