BASKET CONTENTS
Project Ramadan distributes food baskets including nutritious, staple grocery items to support a needy family for a month.
Project Ramadan was able to get all of these items at half the price of what you’d pay at your local grocery shop last year.
Our food baskets contain:
- Flour
- Chickpeas
- Kidney Beans (x2)
- Lentils Vegetable Oil
- Pasta Pasta Sauce (x2)
- Rice
- Tuna Cans (x2) Dates
- Honey
- Salt
- Sugar
- Tea Masks
- Sanitizer

Are donations to my fundraiser tax deductible?
Yes! Any donation you or anyone else makes toward your fundraiser is tax-deductible, and every donor will receive a CRA tax-compliant receipt.
Are donations to my fundraiser zakat-eligible?
Yes! All proceeds go directly to funding the purchase and distribution of food items for Food Banks and our other beneficiaries across Ontario.
Can I see who's given to my fundraiser?
Yes! Through our donor portal, you can make changes to your fundraiser, and view details about the donations given to your fundraiser.
